How to Replace an Empty Ink Cartridge in the HP Officejet Pro 8730 All-in-One series Printer – an Illustrated Tutorial in 7 Steps

Make sure you purchase the right ink cartridges for your specific printer and printer region or have your old ones refilled. Cartridges are not compatible between different brands, and often not within the same brand. HP often designs its inkjet hardware to use country-specific consumables. When you unbox a new HP inkjet printer and set it up, you install a set of ink tanks that ship with the printer. As you turn on the device and get ready to use it, an initialization sequence localizes it to the country associated with the ink cartridges you installed.

HP recommends that you use original HP ink cartridges. XL (Extra Large) cartridges cost more but do provide better value in the long run. The XL version of the cartridge for your HP Officejet Pro 8730 will be able to print at least 3 times the pages of a regular cartridge. Our advice is that if you print often, go with XL. However, ink can dry up. So if you are not a frequent printer, go with the regular cartridges.

You can check the estimated ink levels from the printer software or from the printer control panel. The icon below displays the estimated ink levels. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch:

Ink level alerts and indicators provide estimates for planning purposes only. When you receive a low-ink alert, consider having a replacement cartridge available to avoid possible printing delays. You do not have to replace the cartridges until you are prompted to do so. HP recommends that you replace any missing cartridges as soon as possible to avoid print quality issues and possible extra ink usage or damage to the ink system. Never turn off the printer when ink cartridges are missing.

Aligning the printhead ensures the high-quality output. The printhead does not have to be realigned when cartridges are replaced. However, you might want to use this feature for print quality issues in printouts where straight lines look wavy or jagged. You can align the printhead from the printer software and from the printer display.

Three print cartridges can be used with the printer. For everyday printing: Use a black cartridge along with a tri-color cartridge. Install the black OR photo print cartridge in the right side of the print cartridge cradle.

The ink-backup mode is initiated when a print cartridge is removed from the print cartridge carriage. How to Insert, Remove or Replace a Memory Card in your Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 – Tutorial

Which Memory Card do I need for my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 tablet?

Make sure you purchase the right Memory Card for your tablet. Your Samsung Galaxy built-in memory is 8GB. Users who demand more memory from their tablet can install an external microSD or microSDHC (High-Capacity) memory card with a maximum capacity of 128 GB (according to Samsung). Do NOT buy an SD Card you need the MICRO version! A microSD card or microSDHC (High-Capacity) memory card is the same type of card usually used for smartphones. In the past the max. limit for microSDHC cards was often 32 GB. So for the best compatibility with other devices and to be safe, it might be wise to purchase a card with a maximum capacity of 32 GB. Many micro SD Cards come with an SD Card adapter for compatibility with SD-enabled devices, such as cameras, camcorders and (notebook) computers. Memory cards usually come pre-formatted and do not need to be formatted out of the box.

We recommend storing multimedia files (such as music, videos and pictures) on an external memory card in your device to free up your device’s internal memory for applications. Plus, if you buy a new tablet, you can simply put your external memory card in your new device and all your data is back immediately.

The SD Association defines standard speed classes indicating minimum performance to record video. The class indicates the minimum writing speed: Class 2 = 2 MB/s, Class 4 = 4 MB/s, Class 6 = 6 MB/s, Class 10 = 10 MB/s. A fast Class 10 card is the best option these days, especially for playing (HD) video.

SDHC cards are shipped preformatted with the FAT file system. Your Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 supports only the FAT file structure. If you insert a card formatted with a different file structure, your device will ask you to reformat the memory card. Formatting your memory card on a PC may cause incompatibilities with your device. Format the memory card only on the device. From a Home screen, tap Apps > Settings. Tap Storage > Format SD card and follow the prompts.

Popular memory cards for this tablet include, but are not limited to: Samsung EVO 32GB Class 10 Micro SDHC Card with Adapter (MB-MP32DA/AM) and SanDisk Ultra 16GB Ultra Micro SDHC UHS-I/Class 10 Card with Adapter.
